Allen is a registered Suzuki instructor and holds a BA in Music and a BFA in String Performance and Pedagogy from UWMilwaukee. He has studied at the String Academy of Milwaukee, with Jerry Franke (Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra) and Bernard Zinck (Paris Conservatory, Julliard).
